Get Your Lips the Look with Lipstick

Milani vs. Revlon

I usually do not indulge in buying many lip products because they simply do not carry the correct pigmentation to show their true colors. Sometimes it comes as a surprise that there are drugstore lip products that have great vibrant color and also look good.
The title says it all: my review is about Milani and Revlon's lipstick.

Milani's Rose Hip available at drugstores such as CVS, Rite Aid, and Kmart $5.99.
This lipstick is bright pink and has a nice creamy texture for smooth application. I personally like it for that fact it has great pigmentation and stays on even after eating or drinking. It is available at a very reasonable price and of course if it fits the budget then why not invest in it. The packaging is nice and alluring that it comes in a nice golden tone case- I love that. Overall, I would highly recommend investing in this shade since it stays true to its color, lasts upon applying, and the texture is smooth.

Second is Revlon's Super Lustrous in Haute Berry available at any drugstore for about $5.99-$8.99. I highly recommend that you purchase this at Target because nobody could beat the price at $4.59 which a bargain compared to local drugstores. I love the pigmentation of the lipstick and it is hydrating as well. The downfall is that it does not last once you eat or drink something. The shade is great for everyday wear and can be bought at a very reasonable price. Things I love about this product: reasonable price, great pigmentation, and hydrating.

Tip: Apply a hydrating lip balm such as Carmex or Maybelline's Baby Lips to smooth and leave on for 2-3 minutes and then apply lipstick.
